1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Psych Studio, operated by Doctor’s Praxis LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Psych Studio is a web-based educational platform designed for psychiatric residents and mental health professionals. The Service includes:

• Question banks and timed quizzes aligned with PRITE exam preparation.
• Flashcard and spaced-repetition study tools.
• PsychRx psychopharmacology reference tools (drug tables, quizzes, interactive matrices).
• AI-powered tutoring, drug interaction checking, and patient counseling simulations.
• Voice-based therapy practice lab with AI evaluations.
• Classroom and peer collaboration rooms.
• Neuroanatomy and educational games.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate and current registration information.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Features

Certain features of the Service are available free of charge (Games, Question Bank, Flashcards, Study, Classroom, Peer Rooms). Premium features require the purchase of add-on subscriptions: PsychRx, AI Tools, and/or Therapy Lab.

4.2 Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Subscriptions may be purchased on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method on a recurring basis until cancelled.

4.3 Organization Billing

Organizations pay an annual fee of $50.00 for platform access. Certain educational institutions may be granted exempt status at our sole discretion.

4.4 Free Trials

We may offer free trials of premium features for a limited period. At the end of a trial, access to trial features will be suspended unless you purchase a paid subscription. Trial eligibility and duration are determined at our discretion.

4.5 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period. Refund requests for exceptional circumstances may be submitted through our Contact Us form.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Service without written permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, systems, or data.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure or other users’ experience.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow third-party access to your account.
• Use the AI features to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or in violation of applicable professional ethics standards.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All content, features, materials, and the software underlying the Service are owned by Doctor’s Praxis LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Psych Studio name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Doctor’s Praxis LLC.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (e.g., imported questions, flashcard decks). By uploading content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. AI-Powered Features Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and Perplexity AI) to provide tutoring, therapy practice simulations, drug information, and study recommendations.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCTOR’S PRAXIS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doctor’s Praxis LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of a third party.

11. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Florida.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
